Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your phone or computer. Some are needed to make a site work. Others measure how a site is used or help advertisers see whether their adverts worked.

2. The cookies this website uses

• Essential cookies. WordPress, our security software and our quote form can use these to keep the website working and secure. They are not used for advertising or tracking.
• Your cookie choice. When you use the banner on this website, your choice is saved in cookies that start with cmplz_, so we do not ask you again on every page. They last for up to 12 months.

We do not use advertising cookies or website analytics cookies.

One feature contacts an outside company. The quote form suggests addresses as you type, using Google Maps, so Google receives the text you type and your IP address. This is part of the form you chose to use, so it works whether you press Accept or Deny. We have not found Google setting cookies on your device for this, and you can always type your postcodes and addresses in by hand.

3. How to control cookies

You can change your choice at any time with the Manage consent button at the bottom of the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The ICO explains how at ico.org.uk. The website and quote form still work if you block them.

4. Changes to this page

We update this page when the cookies we use change. It was last updated on 25 October 2026. For how we handle personal data, see our privacy policy.
