What a quote includes, and what to plan for
These are the things we are asked about most.
- Minibus and driver includedThe vehicle and a professional driver for the whole job. Nobody in your group needs to drive, and we do not offer self-drive hire.
- ULEZ is coveredEvery minibus is ULEZ compliant, so there is no extra charge to enter London.
- Tolls and tickets are extraMotorway tolls, ferry crossings and entry tickets are paid separately. If you would rather take a toll route when a free one exists, such as the M6 Toll instead of the free M6, the toll is yours. Your quote shows anything extra before you book.
- Several stops are fineMultiple pick-ups and drop-offs are routine. List the stops on the quote form so the timings and the price are right.
- Late returnsLate-night returns are routine. Tell us when you want to be collected and the quote will reflect it.
- Tight pick-up pointsA minibus can reach places a full-size coach cannot, such as narrow streets and smaller venue car parks. Tell us exactly where you need to be collected and we will check the access.

Confirm and pay
Pay a 30% deposit, or the full amount, and your booking is confirmed. Cancel at least 72 hours before for a full refund.

Your driver’s name and mobile number reach you the day before, then we look after the day.

Before you book a minibus
Do I need a special licence to drive the minibus?
No. Every Peak Travels booking includes a professional driver, so nobody in your group needs a licence or any driving experience. We do not offer self-drive hire.
How much does it cost to hire a minibus for a day?
The price depends on your route, date, hours and number of passengers, so we quote each trip rather than list rates. Put your journey on the quote form and we reply with a fixed price, driver included. Once we have quoted, that quote is your fixed price.
Which size minibus do I need?
Each size carries as many passengers as it has seats: 8 or 16. If your group is carrying luggage, tell us on the quote form and we will confirm whether you need to step up a size. For more than 16 we also arrange 22-seat mini coaches and larger coaches.
Can the minibus make several pick-ups?
Yes. List every pick-up and drop-off on the quote form, with the times if you have them, and the quote will cover the whole route.
Can you take us further than the Thames Valley?
Yes. Most journeys start or finish in the Thames Valley and run to anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales, one way, return or over several days.
How far ahead should I book a minibus?
As early as you can. Summer weekends, event days and December fill first, and the earlier you ask the more choice you have. If your date is close, call 0800 8611 786 and we will tell you straight away what is possible.
